This project was quite unique and intricate not only due to the specific scope of works that needed to be met but also because we took over following the failure of the previously engaged landscaping contractor by the client.

We have been approached by this client who have just parted ways with the landscaping contractor initially engaged for the job. Following the site brief, our team was determined to assist this great client with delivering the project within budget and on time.

The project objectives were as follows:

• Assist the client with the finalisation of the landscape design to include practical and cost-efficient elements that meet their brief.
• Demolish retaining walls attempted by previous contractor.
• Raise the fence levels on one side of the backyard to include timber sleepers underneath the fence.
• Construct concrete sleeper retaining walls along two other sides of backyard to improve the grade of the yard as well as the levels.
• Install new drainage line at the lowest points of the retaining wall including connection into existing drainage network.
• Raise levels of backyard including importation, placement and compaction of fill. 
• Supply & install fresh soil underlay as well as couch turf.
• Supply & install pavers and pebbles including re-grading the walking areas around the new yard to match the new finish surface levels.
• Supply & install merbau timber underneath the existing alfresco to cover the existing void and to complement the new look of the backyard.

Our team rose up to the challenge and complete this tricky access project within 8 working days.
